This is your chance to join (or lead) a new in-house recruitment team tasked with attracting talent and recruiting for one of the biggest brands in the UK.
The role itself:
Working from recruitment offices based in Truro, you’ll be representing a national brand; taking their talent attraction strategy to market and sourcing talented professionals for their growing business of over 500 stores across the UK and Ireland.
You’ll be joining (or leading) an internal recruitment team, so you can forget sales, new business development and traditional agency-style recruitment. Think true talent acquisition, exposure to working for a corporate brand and all the long-term career opportunities that come with it. Think higher basic salary and less reliance on commission (though that will be on offer too).
You’ll become a master of the brand as you take their talent attraction strategy to market and source talented professionals for their growing business of over 500 stores across the UK and Ireland. From a candidate perspective, you’ll be using various headhunting methods to find new candidates as well as managing applications through the brand’s careers website. On the client front, you’ll be building key relationships with regional managers who look after groups of stores based on their location.
This is an opportunity that will suit talented recruitment professionals from various different recruitment backgrounds. You may be working in agency recruitment and looking for a change to in-house, or you may already be working in a similar role for a local or national brand. To get the most out of this position, you’ll likely be someone who started a career in recruitment to help people. You’ll be motivated by delivering a great service, building relationships and ultimately, changing people’s lives (and being rewarded for doing it, of course).
What’s in it for you?
This is an extremely rare recruitment opportunity – particularly in Cornwall. It’s not often you come by an opportunity to gain exposure to recruiting in-house for a large corporate brand.
Salary wise, you’ll be looking at a higher basic salary than agency recruitment so you’ll be less reliant on your commission (though plenty of that will be on offer too).
There are opportunities to both join or manage this new team so we are also looking for recruitment and talent acquisition professionals of all levels to play a key role in this growing in-house recruitment team.
There are few opportunities to essentially work in-house for one of biggest household brands in the UK, so moving fast is going to be key.
